Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) serves as a key member of the unit based leadership team. The CNC is responsible for managing patient-centered care coordination within the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to Los Robles’ vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance
What you will do in this role:
Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
Assist with admission and discharge processes.
Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
Assist with staff scheduling.
What qualifications you will need:
Valid CA Registered Nurse License
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
2 years clinical experience in applicable clinical area is required
Leadership or management experience preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt (ACLS)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
