Job Summary and Qualifications
What qualifications you will need:
High School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred. Completion of Medical Terminology course with some emphasis or experience with Diagnostic Radiology procedures. Medical experience with computers. Working knowledge of PC hardware and software. Excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrates an ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, an ability to set priorities, to exercise initiative and judgment, and to make decisions within the scope of assigned responsibility.

We are seeking a(an) Radiology Unit Clerk PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Provides administrative support to the Radiology Department through organizing and maintaining timely, accurate and customer-friendly patient intake and image distribution services. Greets patients and places orders for the various modalities. Utilizes PACS, HIS, RIS and EMR systems to distribute schedules, requisitions and previous exam images in a timely manner. Assures receipt of physician orders, distributes wet readings and documents release of images.
