We are seeking a Radiology Student Intern PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications
Obtains quality radiographs of patients while under the direct supervision of an ARRT registered technologist. This is to be done in an acceptable timeframe.
Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates radiographic equipment safely.
Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operation, such as entering orders into Meditech and obtaining and verify images in PACS.
Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
Performs clerical duties such as answering phone, distributing reports, etc. as required.
Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.
Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties, such as but limited to, patient transportation.
Completes and maintains educational requirements.

Required : Second year student status in an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technolog y.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION (Required or Preferred)
American Society of Radiologic Technologists (preferred)
Virginia Society of Radiologic Technologists (preferred)
Current CPR certification (required)
