Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of the Director of Women and Children Services, the Nursing Manager is responsible for assisting the director in planning, administering, and evaluating the operations of NICU/Peds units. Shares accountability for the standards and scope of nursing practice. The individual manages the flow of patients and information to expedite care, collaborating with the physicians. Demonstrates clinical competency and nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. Contributes to the Ogden Regional Department of Nursing and the nursing profession in a positive manner.
What qualifications you will need:
Registered Nurse
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 2 years in a nursing supervisory position (including clinical supervisor role) preferred
Basic Cardiac Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Neonate Resuscitate within 90 days of hire
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire
FEMA / NIMS certification within 90 days of hire
