Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Provider Scheduling Supervisor WFH you will be supporting the scheduling book of business. The Provider Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting a team of schedulers while partnering with department leadership and hospital operations to optimize scheduling performance and ensure strong relationships with key stakeholders. You may be required to come into the office from time to time for meetings.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Promote and Embody HCA Healthcare Values

  • Partner with leadership to implement and enforce department best practices

  • Ensure adherence to department processes and procedures

  • Serve as a provider scheduler subject matter expert

  • Monitor and track performance

  • Partner with scheduling leadership to maintain department headcount by recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding

  • Assist with new hire training and continuing education programs

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of workforce time management software (Kronos)

  • Build and establish relationships with stakeholders

  • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training and educational programs

  • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment, or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company

  • Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

  • Monitor performance of day-to-day operations and ensure adherence to department and company policies and procedures

  • Comfortable documenting processes, procedures, and workflows

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and stakeholders

  • Experience in building and fostering relationships

  • Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and training individuals and groups

  • Microsoft efficient – Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint

  • QGenda experience a plus

  • Ability to verify integrity of all application changes

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent of 2 years of work experience required

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred

  • Proven history of building and fostering relationships required

  • Previous Supervisory experience preferred

  • Provider Scheduler Experience preferred
