Job Summary and Qualifications

The Contract Administrator will provide administrative and contract support to help manage the HCA National Contracting Process for standard supplier contracts as well as contracts with Physician Owned Entities (POE). This person will be responsible for working with the Contract Manager(s) and Director(s) to facilitate finalization of contract documents, amendments, and maintenance to the HCA contract portfolio inclusive of all Strategic Sourcing agreements. In addition, this person will assist in facilitating resolution on customer service issues related to the national agreements and strategic sourcing agreements as well as provide assistance to the legal department for preparation of documents.

What you will do in this role:

Strategic Development: Supportive role in the implementation and maintenance of HCA Contracts

Communication: Participates in all aspects of communication including both internal and external customers. This responsibility refers to all communication resources within the HCA Contracting Process.

Execution: Responsible for supporting contracting team initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment that demands strong capabilities to come in to projects and initiatives without much guidance and deliver them to completion.

  • Support HCA Contracting with all contracting needs for products/services related to any national agreements.

  • Facilitate amendments to existing agreements working with both Vendor and the Contract Loading Department to process price files and complete duties within the Contract Management System.

  • Liaison between the Member Services Department, Legal and Contract Vendors in regard to any member or vendor issues.

  • Administer agreements in CLM, Vendor contact maintenance and Purchasing Agreement Exhibit updates.

  • Maintaining and communicating changes to contracts and agreements on internal site

  • Assist Legal department in the document preparation for any and all legal requests.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Diploma; College graduate preferred

  • Work experience may be substituted for college degree

  • Experience in contract management or agreement portfolio management

  • Healthcare experience preferred

  • Salesforce/Service Cloud/CRM experience preferred

  • Salesforce Administrator a plus
