Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision and/or direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Lead Surgical Services Aide, the Surgical Services Aide assists the perioperative care team in many aspects of patient care, including but not limited to, patient care assistance, patient positioning, patient hair clipping,care of environment, transportation of patients, supplies/ equipment, specimens and blood products to, from, and within the surgical unit. The Surgical Services Aide may be assigned other functions in accordance with hospital/department policies procedures and protocols.
What qualifications you will need:
High School/GED
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
