Job Summary and Qualifications
The OR Nurse Manager is responsible for all department functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and facility goals.
Provides leadership, clinical expertise, and functional direction to OR supervisors and staff to achieve optimal perioperative patient outcomes.
Evaluates quality of perioperative practices in relation to established professional and legal standards.
Collaborates with other disciplines to facilitate the delivery of patient care.
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
MSN degree preferred.
Operating Room experience required.
5 years of perioperative nursing management experience preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State your Primary State of Residence required.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider required.
CNOR required within one year of hire, transfer or promotion.
