Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to emergent, identified needs. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and ENA standards in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.
What qualifications you will need:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas or Compact License
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Bachelors Degree preferred, or Associate Degree required. BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
2 years of experience in a acuter care hospital emergency room
CEN preferred
TNCC preferred
