Job Summary and Qualifications
Serves as the direct supervisor for the Progressive Care Unit.
Organizes safe and effective care of the patient, collaborating with the Director, physicians, technicians, and allied health practitioners.
The Manager is responsible for assisting with the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s).
The Manager coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care.
The Manager implements Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and assists with the financial management of the units.
What qualifications you will need:
Education/Skills:
- BSN required.
Experience:
- Preferred 3 years minimum of clinical and/or supervisory experience in Critical Care.
Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications:
Registered Nurse License eligible to practice in the State of Texas required.
Current BLS required, ACLS required from HCA approved vendor.
Specialty Certification is preferred and must be obtained within the first year of employment.
Professional Nursing Organization Membership is required.
