Job Summary and Qualifications

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Consults with and provides leadership to Administrators on all aspects of operations including quality, staffing, human resources, compliance etc.

  • Plans, develops, and implements long term and short term strategic initiatives for behavioral health services to include inpatient and outpatient services

  • Creates operating efficiencies between transfer center and community emergency depts

  • Assists with monitoring and evaluating all hospital activities including staff development, risk and safety management, budget and financial management, compliance with regulatory standards, policy and procedure development and implementation and performance improvement activities.

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the quality of care, coordinating with other clinical departments across all programs.

  • Conducts audits and seeks to improve care/services based on findings; investigates situations for service recovery opportunities

  • Prepares and presents operational and financial reports as required

  • Attends and develops materials for all hospital operations meetings to include weekly and monthly operating reports

  • Develops and strives for achievement of financial objectives, including appropriate staffing targets and budget management.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Behavioral Health required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Behavioral Health Leadership Strongly preferred

  • Acute Inpatient Psychiatric experience Required

  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Admin, Business, or a related field is Strongly Preferred
