Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor Nursing Unit, the staff nurse plans, implements, and evaluates and documents nursing care for patients.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 1-3 Years of experience
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Associate’s Degree – Nursing or BSN
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Texas Registered Nursing license or identified compact state license - Required Upon Hire
BLS - Required Upon Hire
ALS - Required Within 6 Months of Hire
ENPC - Required Within 12 Months of Hire
TNCC or ATCN – Required Within 12 Months of Hire
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required Within 60 Days of Hire and Annually
Preferred:
- CEN (certified emergency nurse)
