$8k Sign on bonus for qualified candidates -paid out in 20% payments every 6 months, over the course of 2 years (initial paycheck, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months) - 6 month commitment or you have to pay the initial payment back, no payback commitment after that point

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. The RN I OR Staff Nurse performs the primary function of assessing, planning, and evaluating the perioperative care of all assigned patients, infancy through life span in the Operating Room. The RN I OR Staff Nurse is responsible for meeting the established policies/standards of practice for this facility, for managing all assigned nursing personnel, supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. The RN promotes teamwork with surgery personnel, surgeons, anesthesia department personnel and personnel from other departments. The RN I OR Staff Nurse will be cross trained/oriented to PACU and ENDO. Participate in Performance Improvement Activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, and co-workers. Promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon.
What qualifications you will need:
Registered Nurse: TN RN licensure or compact licensure.
Associate Degree
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in perioperative area.
