We are seeking a(an) Medical Staff Services Coordinator for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care. Job Summary and Qualifications

· Serve as the primary liaison between the Education Department and Medical Staff Services in relation to Advanced Practice Professional Students.

· Serve as the primary liaison between the Academic Affairs Department and Medical Staff Services in relation to Observation requests.

· Participate in facility evaluation of current needs surrounding Advanced Practice Professional students and observers.

· Facilitate review, assessment, and authenticated documentation of an evaluation of each application and request for observation and student rotation.

· Facilitate review, assessment, and recommendations on a quarterly basis with facility Medical Executive Committees.

· Utilize “paper-lite” procedures

What qualifications you will need:

· Associate’s Degree preferred

· Knowledge of medical terminology

· Two (2) years experience as a Medical Staff Coordinator or Credentialing Specialist

· Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) as a Certified Professional Medical Staff Manager (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred

· Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with physicians and physician office staff. Detail oriented with analytical skills

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
