Job Summary and Qualifications
The Bed Management Director (BMD) is responsible for ensuring the appropriate placement of patients throughout the hospital, and works with Case Management, Nursing, Environmental Services and any other department in order to proactively plan for patient admissions, discharges and transfers for effective patient flow. The BMD conducts frequent rounds to identify actual and potential bed availability, and actively participates and contributes to organizational initiatives that impact patient flow and reduce barriers to effective patient throughput.
What qualifications you will need:
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred
Three years nursing experience in an acute care setting
RN with current Florida licensure
